Surrendered Life - Part 2
Definiition Surrendered: Yielded, submit, back down, give in, to stop fighting against what is right.
God is able to use a surrendered life in a great way! Surrendering your life to Christ involves every part of your body. Let's look at how each part of our body must be surrendered to God in Prayer.
MY MIND:
The Word of God tells us, "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus".
We must realize as long as we are walking in the flesh our mind will deceive us and take us down roads we never imagined and in directions we never planned to go, This is why it is important for us to understand that we need God help to direct us in the right path. In order to do this, we must submit, stop resisting his purpose and say yes to his will, in order to become a surrendered vessel for him. Romans 8 tells us about the carnal mind always fights against the spiritural mind. As soon as you make up your mind to make changes in your own personal life this is when the carnal mind stands up and works against every change you are trying to make in your life.
It takes the Word of God to help us let go of the things that are holding us captive. There are many avenues of captivity. We can be locked into prison in our mind because of a bad experience, pain or hurt that we had been confronted with in our past. Christ came to set the captive free. We may not be physically in prison but we can be in prison because of the things we allow to run through our mind. Satan captivates us with a complaining spirit, argumentive spirit, low self-esteem, spirit of unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, and failure. It takes God to deliver us from these things but we can only be delivered when we choose to let these strongholds go and ask God to come into our heart and cleanse our spirit.
Once we decide to ask God to help us only then have we surrendered and are willing to let go of the things that do not allow us to walk in completeness in him. There are times you can feel like everything is good and you have conquer your issue and this may be true but that is right when God shows you yourself and allows to you to things you never realized was in your life.
We must have an open mind to God and allow him to minister to us however he desires to bring forth change in our lives, our family, our children's life. As surrendered life involves every aspect of our lives not just one area or one compartment in our life. We have many rooms in our house but when you clean up you must go to every room and clean up. We must also do the same thing in our lives. We must surrender to him and allow God to touch every area of our life so we can be completely surrendered to him.

Prayer Ministry - The Power of Prayer
The Lord dealt with me one Saturday Morning in a dream telling me to start a prayer ministry. After several more dreams, I surrendered but did not know how it was going to happen. Several women approached me at Church, in Columbus, Ohio. These women were hungry and seeking for more of God.
This is when I shared my dreams, but little did I know that God was orchestrating this prayer ministry. The prayer ministry evolved and God began to minister to us individually and it exploded with the Power of God being revealed.
When the prayer ministry, I did not realize what God was doing. Later I realized they had been praying to God asking for a closer walk, closer relationship with him and he connected us together so he could answer our prayers.
One thing I discovered is when you seek God with your whole heart and set aside time to get in his presence and sup with him because of your faithful to him and your commitment to him he will pour out blessings on your life,
Prayer changes your environment, circumstances and it will change us! In most circumstances, it is us that the changes needs to take place in and then everything else will work itself out.
When we pray it changes the atmosphere and things begin to shift in our lives, our love ones and everyone we touch when we do it in sincerity.
The enemy does not want you to open your mouth and talk to God, but you will find when you start putting your issues, concerns and desires in his hands something will change in your life and those that you give to God in prayer.
Prayer is a weapon that is so powerful. Prayer combined with faith is like dynamite. It will pull down strong holds, and bring forth change in men and women heart and mind.

Never Give Up - Stay In Prayer
Lord's Prayer - Part 1
Jesus teaches the disciples how to pray. He teaches us how to approach him in prayer.
1. Do not do it for show because if you do it to be recognized or praised you have already received your rewad.
2. Do not sound your own horn - bragging about how much and how long you pray.
3. When you make sacrifice (give alms) do it in secret. Go to your secret closet and shut the door.
4. Give him Praise! OUR FATHER - what a powerful name. What father would not give to his children. We are his children and he is waiting for us to come to him honor him. Reverence his name and his works in our lives. Call out before him in worship.
5. Be thankful and grateful for his many blessings he has shown toward you.
6. Pray thy Kingdom come. We want his will to be done in earth as it is in Heaven.
We have so much to thank God for because he has been so good to us. Psalms tells us to enter into his gates with thanksgiving and go into his courts with Praise.
If we would start out our prayer with these steps you will begin to see more of his manifestation in our lives because we have obeyed his word.
