Stepping Stones Walking By Faith
Sometimes we may be placed in a situation where there is no exit. This should cause you to think about and look at all of your prior test and recognize that if God has delivered me from that situation; he is still able to deliver you in what you are confronted with today. For in it (the test, in the midst of your difficult problem or perplexing situation) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." Romans 1:17 (NKJV).
Walking by Faith may cause you to take leaps and bounds because it is causing you see past the problem and believe his Word will strengthen you to endure the storm. If you are not stretched to make a leap in faith you may become comfortable and complacent, then lose your focus. God has purpose in everything he allows to come our way. Always apply these steps:
1. Seek God about what he want you to learn from of the test.
2. Ask God to help you and show you how to walk through it in obedience of the Word
of God and how to handle the situation.
3. Thank God for his direction and for counting you worthy to be chosen for his name
sake.
God only allows us to be tested because he knows who we are in him. We must be shown who we are by the things we go through because we do not know the authority and power he has given us.l Walking through these test shows us the Power of his Word. We must remember, "The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone." Matthew 21:42. Jesus is our Rock (our strong tower), and "he will never leave us nor forsake us." Hebrew 13:5 (NKJV).
Every step we take in him causes us to trust him because every test we overcome and he gives us the victory over increases our faith. "We walk by faith and not by sight." 2 Corthinians 5:7 (KJV)
