FAMILY

love of family.jpg

Family is very important especially in the eyes of God. The time you have with your family helps you gain all of your life skills when you have a loving family. When you have strong leadership in your home; there is a stong bond between family members that knits everyone together. This bond allows you to be in a place that you do not have to see each other every day nor do you have to talk to them all the time. You have a peace on the inside and when you all come together, it is a great occasion of happiness. Growing up together, living under the same roof and going through everyday challenges cause a bond that can not be broken when you are walking in the Spirit of the Lord.

Yes the love of a family is a blessing. This connection causes everyone to bond together in crisis, in valleys, and on the mountain top. Sometimes you never know what your family will do until the strong member of the family is ill or in a crisis. This is when you watch everyone pull together like a mother hen and her chicks huddle together. It is awesome how God uses families to be a blessing to one another.

The bond of love is so strong in a family. Brothers will actually stand up and fight for you when they feel like you are being threatened or in a place where someone is not treating you right. Sisters will stand up for their brothers and tell them about girls they are connecting to and give them the whole scoop on what is not right for them.

The love of our parents are very strong when it comes to the children. It may not always be shown or seen when we were a child, but because they care for you and provide for you shows that they love you. Sometimes we do not understand the fullness of a loving family until we become a parent and have children. Then our mind reflects back to our childhood, our parents care and it makes us wonder how they managed to balance life's challenges and along with everything else.

Being a part of a family teaches us how to love, forgive, agree and disagree, how to share and be thankful for the things you have in life. It teaches us how to juggle duties and how to take on responsibilities. Yes, we have our ups and down and struggles but that is part of maturing and growing in God. Family is the best thing you can ever have in our lives.
