Breaking Through Barriers- FEAR

A problem that hinders progress or something that blocks and prevents us from moving forward is a barrier. Fear paralizes you and traps you into believing something or someone is going to be threatening. There are many things that can captivate us and hold us prisoner such as cancer, divorce, lost of a love one, lost of job, low self esteem, depression, a financial crisis and many more. If we allow these things to over take our mind it will stop us dead in our track and make your lives miserable.

We must learn how to overcome any thing that brings fear to our front door. When life's trials makes us feel like it has over powered us, we must recognize that we can defeat anything because the enemy loves to play on our emotion and bring anxiety. Looking to God and applying his Word in your heart will give you strength to resist the attack of the enemy who is playing with our mind.

Walking by Faith and believing the Word of God will destroy the wall(s) the enemy is trying to build around you to keep isolated so you will not learn the truth. His job is to alienate you from everyone. The Word of God gives you power to overcome any obstacle and gives you liberty, John 8:36 (KJV) "If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed."

Fear has no place in our lives because it only brings forth terror, pain, horror, panic, and pain. The scripture tell us, "God has not given us the Spirit of Fear, but of power of love and of a sound mind", 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV). Some challenges can paralyze us only if we do not stay consecrated and prayerful. We must speak to fear with the Word and believe and stand on the Word. Only the Word of God can penetrate and destroy the spirit of fear that is trying to take over your lives. We must take courage and stand strong and know that God is the only one able to deliver us. Learn how to trust God in all things.

Faith deliverers us from any problem, but we must exercise our faith to defeat the spirit of fear. When you keep your focus on God, you will receive the strength to go through the fiery trial and come out without the smell of smoke. In otherwords, you will not look like what you just went through because God is with you and has you covered.

"Without faith is is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exist and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him". Hebrews 11:6 NIV). Faith is powerful! It about mind over matter. Faith will move you above the storm and cause hope to leap over any barriers, walls or valley that comes up in your life. Faith reveals the strength that dwells on the inside of you. We must learn how to tap into our inner strength by holding on to the Word of God and trusting him.
