Facing Challenges

I have notice that once you think about certain challenges or hardships you really do not want to experience, it seems like somewhere down the road it appears in your life. Our carnal man does not want to be put in an uncomfortable position. It wants us to please the flesh desires of eating excessively, drinking, doing things of pleasure that is worthless and meaningless and does not profit our understanding. Our carnal man wants everything easy and doe not want to face a challenge.

I am so glad that Jesus knows how to challenge us and bring us to the place in him that he has called us to be in him. Heart aches, disappointments, being talked about, hated and neglected, being made to fill like you do not fit in and no one care all serves a purpose to push into another place where we can see God for who he really is in our lives. If it had not been for going through these things, I wouldn't have the personal relationship with him as I do today. Challenges make us grow and face reality, especially when we are placed in a position that we have no answers and we are not able to rescue ourselves and get out of the situation.

The things we face usually squeezes us to search God's word and fall on our knees to call on his name to help us in the midst of the fire. God is so merciful that he comes to our rescue because he loves us so much. What is so wonderful about him, he never rescue us until we have learned something from what we have been going through. I praise God for his loving kindness and his mercies he grants to us everyday. Some storms we would have died in but God delivered us because of who we are in him. Never run, never get frustrated when you are confronted with a hard situation, you must realize you are in the dirt, and in order for a seed to grow it must die first. So die out to your self pity, die out to your "oh woe is me attitude, die out to always trying to get attention and seek God's face and let him pour his spirit into you so you can grow into the position he has placed inside of you.
