The Positive Side of Fighting Breast Cancer - We Must Pray

When the doctors announced you have cancer, many women can not handle it, and have anxiety attacks, fear sets in and their challenges increase daily. When you do not react the way they want you to or they think you should react they want to know if you really understand what they are saying.

I told them, yes, I understand what you said, but I will be alright! I knew God would bring me out . My faith in God is so strong that fear and doubt did not enter into my heart. I praise God for the place he had me in when this test came to my life. I take no credit because I could not have gone through it without God standing strong in my life.

Matter of fact, when was a teenager, I was very concerned about sicknesses as I watch my grandmother and friends of the family deal with sickness. I talked to God about it and told him I was scared of Cancer. I asked him to prepare me for it if this is something I would have to face. I knew that I could not face it on my own and I would need a higher power to help me cope with the thought of it.

In 2012 and 2013, I was encouraging two of my girlfriends who had breast cancer and I did not understand why I was encouraging and motivating them through scriptures, video's of songs and the preaching Word of God.

When they announced cancer in my life, there was not fear or doubt. I told God, you answered my prayer from when I was a teenager. He prepared me to face cancer and gave me all the tools I would need to be able to go through as a good solider. Everything I gave them was what I would have to use in order to go though it in Faith. When he allowed me to minister to my girlfrends, he was setting me up by allowing me to see how they went through it, what they experience so I would know how to approach it, and I would know what to say to the doctors. Because of God my journey was nothing like their journey through cancer and because I understood and knew what to expect, I knew God was with me every step of the way.

We must learn that we must ask God to prepare us for everything that we must face in our lives. God can strengthen us, prepare us and open our understanding so we can endure the test. When he prepares us we can stand because of his Word.

I tell you God is Awesome! He can take you into the fiery furnace and bring you out without a burn or stinch of smoke!

When you are a child of God you must stand up and stand strong in your Faith and Trust God because now the FIGHT is on! We speak the word but now it is time to walk in the Word and live it!
