Walking By Faith

It's A Faith Walk

And Peter answered him and said, Lord if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water. Matthew 14:28

Even in the midst of the storm Peter wanted to do something impossible for him but possible with God. Peter knew if Jesus granted him permission he did not have to worry about anything.

Have you ever felt like Peter? In our walk with Christ, there will be situations that seem impossible especially to the natural man; but in the spiritual man all things are possible if you only believe. Water represents anything that rises up in our lives that we have no control over. When Jesus bid him to come it represents the faith required to survive any circumstance you are in no matter what the statistics say, the doctors say and what man may say should happen. Walking by faith sees beyond what everyone tells you. It is living and walking in a place that is above all logic. As Peter began to sink, when we lose our focus we begin to sink. God needs faith to produce miracles, healings, deliverance and to do the impossible. Remember we walk by faith and not by sight. Sight causes us to fall but faith elevates us to a place to receive the promises and blessings God has promised us.

Key thought: Set your affections on things above - never lose your focus, keep your mind on him in the midst of what you face and you will come out of it in Victory.

Each victory is walking from faith to faith and glory to glory.
