The Challenge

Every day we live and face challenges, afflictions, trouble and disappointments. All of these stages bring us to a place to seek God for an answer or peae in our heart.

Hebrew 4:7 Today, if ye hear his voice, harden not your hearts".

When God answers our prayers he challendges us to accept him into our life and live for him.

First we must recognize:

1. The duty: Hearing his voice.

- Being sensitive to his voice is very important.

- Having a humble spirit and a heart to accept his will in our life

- Seeking God for guidance and direction in everything.

Even when life has it's up and down we must be alert and sensitive to hear what God is saying to us.

2. The danger: Hardness of heart

- Rejecting God when he calls you may bring forth trouble, and challenges.

- Having a stubborned spirit will bring forth hardness of heart.

- Denying God's purpose will bring destruction.

- Lose opportunity to have God and exxperience his love and peace.

We must never allow someone to afflict us and hurt us so bad that we harden our hearts and become separated from God and unalbe to hear his voice.

3. The Time: Is Today

- Our redemption draws nigh - we must not put off serving God

- Don't be fooled, we can't come to him whenever we want.

- Never think you are young and you have a lot of time to accept him.

- Tomorrow is not promised so now is the time to accept him as your Saviour.

We must be open minded and ready to hear God's voice so we can know his will for ourl ives.

The adversary wants to deceive you and make you think it really doesn't matter. It does matter where you will spend eternity. He wants you to stay longer and be entrapped in his tricks, games and waste time. He is already doomed and wants you to join him. Don't get caught up in every whim and trick he presents to you. Separate yourself from sin. Sin will destroy you.

Time is short. Trouble is all over the land as the bible states "There will be terrible times in the last days". II Timothy 3:1-5.

Because man has turned from God, man has become lovers of himself. Everything is about "me"; lover of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, unholy, without self control, not lover of good. Don't you see it all around you. Sin has already voiced his opinion but now it is time to stop and hear the voice of the Lord. Allow him to speak to you and settle your spirit and free you from captivity of the reigns of sin.

There is not anything you have done that God will not forgive you. Seek God and ask for forgiveness and then forgive yourself and walk into his arm and his presence.

The challenge is for your to stop letting your flesh operate and take control of it and walk according to God's Word.

Will you examine your life, your heart and take the challenge? Is God talking to you? Are your obeying the voice that is instructing you to make a change? Take the Challenge. God is waiting on you!
